Yup,

Ol "Steal your Face" was a royal turd! Apparently the Dead were under contract with United Artist's to deliver a live album. Add to the mix their cynicism having their own label at that time, and considering the mountain of analog tape treasures in the Vault, one can assume it was their intent to deliver this underwhelming performance.

DP 20 9/25/76 - 9/28/76 just never understood this release compared to all of the great 1976 performances attended and listened to here at Archive. Pissed me off for dropping coin on this one.

View from the Vault Vol #1 Pittsburgh 7/08/90 with all the wonderful Video's in their Vault from 1989 - 1990 a better performance would have been an easy choice.

View from the Vault #2 RFK 6/14/91 guess they chose this as a historical perspective showcasing Bruce & Vinny. I have a difficult time tapping my foot to this one.

Rocking the Cradle Egypt 1978? I like to refer to this as the $35 Looks Like Rain, questionable video quality, mediocre short performance as Jerry and Phil are trying to keep Keith awake, two or three reasonable songs, add to the mix, once again, to get the DVD, you had to buy the CD's?

Speaking of Video's and DVD's, perhaps the good folks at Rhino could drop the "unknown" Road Trips subscription nonsense and release a few more choice DVD's?

1972 - 1977 - 1978 - 1988 - 1989 - 1990 any ideas?

Yeah, Egypt wasn't that great. Looks like Rain is awesome though, Deal is one of my all time versions, other than that it's a pretty poor release.
